The following guidelines, would help you to
operate the Virtual tour :
The Virtual Tour for the Bronze Gallery has been made
in the sense of viewing the Gallery in five different Virtual camera angles,
fixed at the Entrance,Right and Left staircase, Ground and First floors corresponding. The
tour has been made to view in those angles using two different simple methods. First method
could be accomplished, by clicking the right most button, illustrated in the down left hand
side. Similarly, its left most button is to go in reverse order of the camera
angle. Second easy method, is to click the centre button so that, a drop-down
like list box is emerged, as illustrated in the down right hand side image, from which the
desired angle can be viewed. The main difference between the two methods is from the first
method the view-point can be obtained in the order prescribed, but this factor has been
superceded by the second method. |

 |
This Go button, is
used to view, in which ever direction the mouse is dragged, when clicked and dragged inside
the gallery. |
 |
 |
These buttons are immensely used to hide and unhide the explanation part of the Dash-board
buttons. The first button from the top, is used to hide the complete dash
board. The second button on clicking, hides the name of the buttons when the mouse is placed
on the dashboard buttons. The last button is used to hide the descriptive text given for all
the buttons.
|
This Slide button
when clicked and dragged (as in Go button) will slide in whichever direction the mouse is
dragged. The main usage of this button is that the outside view can also be obtained when
dragged outside the gallery. |
 |
 |
This Tilt button,
is used to view the gallery around without moving by clicking and dragging in whichever
directions.
|
This Seek button
will enable to view the concerned object closely, when clicked on the object. |
 |
 |
These Undo
and Redo buttons are similar to that of the normal undo and redo button options. |
The left hand side button is called as Change Control button. On
clicking, the buttons are changed as in right hand side illustration. The first button from
left is called as Zoom which is used to move the object in front of you closer or farther
away. The second button is called as Rotate button which can spin the object in front of you on
clicking. The last Pan button on enabling can move the object in front of you in which ever
direction clicked.
|
 |
 |
The right hand side Preference button is used to change the options as the
user wishes on clicking. The options dealt in those tabs can be altered. For example, in World
tab, "Collision Detection On" check-box could be enabled so that the
navigation process would collide when we try to move beyond the barrier of the object.
