seated on a pedestal with left leg kept on the seat and the right leg resting over the ground.
In two of his four hands he holds conch and discus which are close to the face. On the other
pair of hands lower left is resting on his left leg, while the fourth one must, which have
been in abhaya (protection) fashion, is broken. The drapery, the ribbon like sacred
thread with a broad fastening over the left breast and the kirita (crown) are of
Pallava style. |
